Dr Najmeldeen Al-Falahe is well-respected Neurophysiologist and Psychiatrist at the Priory Hospital Roehampton where he adopts an integrated approach to treatment to provide pioneering services to clients. His philosophy is to listen to his clients personal story and gain a comprehensive understanding of their wellbeing and create a holistic treatment plan to empower them to feel in control of and contribute to their own recovery.Dr Al-Falahe has a strong background in the assessment and management of Bipolar Disorder. He worked in the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, a research-led medical university which awards the Nobel prize in physiology or medicine, where he focused on research and treatment of Bipolar Disorder during crisis and recovery. He also worked at the bipolar centre based at Oxford University Hospital and is the Chief Investigator for the BRIDGE screening programme, screening patients suffering from depression who may have concealed Bipolar Disorder. He is heavily involved in medical education of students and junior doctors and received recognition for his work in helping overseas doctors to efficiently integrate into the Swedish Health System. He has completed extensive research in his field and has published many accredited peer-reviewed journals and studies.He has extensive experience from across the globe having qualified from Baghdad University with a Medical Degree before continuing is training in Sweden and is a specialist advisor in several Arabic countries.
